DMX Fights For His Life Due to Overdose

Yesterday there was a report that DMX collapsed and was rushed to a hospital after he suffered an asthma attack. However a TMZ report says DMX didn't suffer an asthma attack, because when he was found on Monday evening he was lifeless, not breathing with no pulse something which points to overdose. PM to Convene Meeting of Religious Leaders

Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa will convene a meeting of religious leaders in the near future to discuss how the clergy can advice the government improve its services to the people. He made the pledge yesterday in Dodoma when addressing hundreds of believers who turned up to witness the installation of the second Archbishop of the Evangelistic Assemblies of God Tanzania (EAGT), Dr Brown Mwakipesile that took place at EAGT Mlimwa West outside Dodoma.

Harmonize Explains Why Bongo Flavour Artists Prefer to Shoot Their Videos Abroad

Bongo flavour artist Harmonize has explained why majority of music artists in Tanzania prefer to shoot their videos abroad especially South Africa. The singer said in a radio program "Planet Bongo" which aires in East Africa Radio, that the process to secure locations for video shoot in Tanzania is hectic.

"The process to secure a video shoot location in Tanzania is very long and tiresome, for example if you want to shoot at Julius Nyerere International Airport you will have to pass through alot of authority personnel to get the authorization, that's why majority of us prefer to go out of Tanzania where the process is easy and simple." Harmonize said

Government Says Won't Legalize Marijuana and Khat Consumption

 

Deputy Minister for Health, Community Development, Gender, Elders and Children, Dr Hamis Kigwangalla, has ruled out legalisation of marijuana and khat in Tanzania due to adverse mental effects to users. 

“Various studies have proved that the use of marijuana leads to addiction and eventually a mental illness known as cannabis induced psychosis and thus the government can never allow its use,” Dr Kigwangalla stressed.

SSRA General Director Urges Funds to Pay Pensioners on Time

SSRA Director General, Ms Irene Kisaka has ordered all social security funds to pay pensioners on time, otherwise they will face the penalty. Ms Kisaka said that after the authority received a lot of complains from the members of different social security funds in the country. The authority has issued 21 days starting from Saturday for all social security funds to clear delayed payments to all members.

Navy Provides Boats to Ferry People at Kilombero River

The Tanzania People's Defence Forces (TPDF) Navy wing, has provided tow speed boats to ferry people free of charge from both sides of Kilombero river in Kilombero district, Ulanga and Malinyi, following capsizing of MV Kilombero II ferry on Wednesday night while crossing the river.

The Navy has also brought two crane trucks for lifting out the ill-fated MV Kilombero II on Saturday but they were unable to work due to heavy rains that made the soil around the ferry too soft.

"Apart from being artist I am now the C.E.O, there are some meetings which you can't go with a cheap, normal car, because if you go with a cheap car then you can't make a good deal out of it. Also some other places I can't go driving myself and I can't hire someone to drive me in X6. That's why I want to own Rolls royce because it builds that respect needed." Diamond said.
