President Magufuli Sends Condolences to National Assembly Speaker, Following the Death of Ex MP Beatrice Shelukindo

President Magufuli has sent a note of condolences to National Assembly Speaker Job Ndugai following the death of ex-Kilindi constituency MP Beatrice Shelukindo.

“Through you honourable Speaker, I also pass my condolences to the family, relatives, friends as well as MPs.”She was a very hard working leader who had always been standing for bringing development for the citizens and defending the country’s natural resources,” Dr Magufuli said.


Late ex-MP Beatrice Shellukindo represented Kilindi constituency in the National Assembly through the ruling party CCM. She also served as Tanzanian member of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) and later as legislator of the National Assembly until last year.  Untill her death she was a member of ruling CCMs National Executive Committee (NEC).

Hon. Beatrice died on Saturday in her home located at Njiro Arusha city after battling an illness since 2014. She is survived by three sons and her funeral will be held on Wednesday in Arusha city.
