Kilimanjaro Regional Commissioner (RC) Amosi Makala met with Moshi municipal council officers to discuss the cholera outbreak problem, which has been hitting Moshi residents for a while now. The RC was told people responsible for cleaning town have failed to do so for a while, because the main rubbish pit is full so there is no place to dump trashes gathered in town.
Moshi town District Commissioner (DC) Novatus Makunga was instructed to over see the problem and so he visited the main rubbish pit and resolved the matter. Later in the day trashes were being picked leaving the town as clean as possible. See photos of the activity here under.
