General Summary Of Tanzania Members Of Parliament Seats Winners After the Election

Tanzania citizens choose their fifth president, Vice President and members of parliament on 25th October 2015. Dr John Pombe Magufuli is now the president of United Republic of Tanzania with his running mate Mrs Samiah Suluhu Hassan the first woman Vice President of United Republic of Tanzania. The eleventh parliament members from 2015 to 2020 winners are as follows:

Total number of constituencies is 264, CCM political party won 182 seats, CUF political party won 39 seats, CHADEMA political party won 35 seats, ACT political party won 1 seat and NCCR Political party also won 1 seat. However 8 constituencies haven't been able to select their MP representatives due to various reasons so election will be repeated in these constituencies.

Members of parliament in special seats are CCM-63, CHADEMA 43, CUF 7, NCCR 0, and ACT 0. Therefore a total number of all members of parliament is 396 whereby each political party has secured seats in the following category.

6. Members appointed by the president  - 10

7. General Attorney - 1
