Singer David Bowie Has Died Aged 69

The greatest English singer, actor, song writer, mult-instrumentalist, record producer and painter David Bowie has died at the age of 69 after an 18 months of battle with Cancer.

David spokesperson made the announcement on Sunday evening via his Facebook page: "David Bowie died peaceful today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 months battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family's privacy during their time of grief".

David is survived by his two children Duncan Jones, Alexandria Zahra Jones and  was married to the super model Iman.
