"I don't agree with bomoabomoa" Says Dar Es Salaam City Mayor

Dar Es Salaam city mayor Isaya Mwita, has been sworn in today by the judge in charge Aziza Kali of Sokoine Drive court, at Karimjee hall in the city centre. Soon after he was sworn in Isaya Mwita said he doesn't agree with house demolish (bomoabomoa) which has been going on in the so called dangerous environment in Dar Es Salaam city.

However he said he is will agree with it, if only he is given a report which states where exactly will the victims live after their houses are demolished.

"This is a country for all of us, it hurts a lot when you see a person has construct her/his house for a long time, then the government demolish it latter on. Where were they when the house construction began?? Honestly it hurts a lot and I won't agree with this in my city" said mayor Isaya Mwita.

Moreover he added that the city is very dirty, one rubbish pit/dump is not enough, therefore he will add extra dumps in every ward. In order to accomplish this everyone should pay tax as needed because without tax there is no development anywhere in this world.
