Pope Says Britains Should Take in 3000 Refugges Family one for Each Parish

Well some people call it a dramatic plea but I think it's a wonderfull order from the Catholic Church Leader. Below is why he said today at Vatican City.
Pope Francis says Britain's Catholics should invite more than 3,000 refugee families into their homes.
The pontiff made his dramatic plea to thousands in the Vatican today as he called for action from every Catholic parish in Europe.

England, Wales and Scotland alone have 3,300 Catholic parishes - so their generosity could be more than double Britain's number of Syrian refugees.
And it could help solve the headache of how to fund the families, for whom George Osborne is already diverting foreign aid cash to local councils.

The Pope said to applause in St Peter's Square: "I appeal to the parishes, the religious communities, the monasteries and sanctuaries of all Europe to ... take in one family of refugees.

"Every parish, every religious community, every monastery, every sanctuary of Europe, take in one family."
And the Vatican is leading by example - with two of its parishes taking in a refugee family each in the next few days.
Latest figures show there are 3,284 Catholic parishes in England, Wales and Scotland.
The busiest area under the Pope's plan would be the Archdiocese of Birmingham, which has 261 separate parishes with at least one church in each.
Close behind would be Salford, Liverpool and Westminster (London), all of which have 200 or more parishes each.
The Pope's numbers are almost the same as those suggested by Yvette Cooper last week.
She said Britain's 433 councils could each take 10 families - adding up to around 10,000 refugees overall.
After days of inaction David Cameron has now vowed to resettle thousands of Syrian refugees from camps on the country's border.
The PM will spell out details of his plan to the Commons tomorrow when MPs return from their summer break.
But he's already said he won't help refugees already in Europe including Calais - because he doesn't want to encourage more to cross the Mediterranean.
