Joan Collins is completely devastated over the loss of her sister Jackie Collins, who died today after a six years battle of breast cancer.
Speaking to People magazine, she said: "She was my best friend. I admire how she handled this. She was a wonderful, brave and a beautiful person and I love her."
Jackie revelead in her final interview that she had told her sister about the diagnosis only two weeks ago and she was very shocked. When asked why she kept it a secret from her sister while they were close, Jackie said she didn't want to burden her sister.
She added,Because it would have really affected her. I just felt she didn't need it in her life. She's very positive and very social but I'm not sure how strong she is, so I didn't want to burden her with it.
Knowing about the sickness and loose your beloved in two weeks is quite frustrating, try to be strong Joan.
