Deputy speaker of Tanzania parliament Dr Auckson Tulia along with parliament displinary committee, have suspended two MPs (Member of Parliament) for deceiving other MPs during parliament meetings.
Parliament displinary committee reached the above decision on June 16, 2016 and officially announced to have suspend Hon. Susan Lyimo and hon. Anatropia Theonist both special seat MPs from CHADEMA; for deceiving other MPs during their meeting.
Hon. Susan Lyimo told other MPs that national police force has bought 777 cars something which was not true. According to minister of domestic affairs, national police force has bought only 32 cars and not 777 cars.
On the other hand hon. Anatropia Theonest told other MPs during meeting that minister of land and settlement William Lukuvi committed land grabbing when he was Dar Es Salaam Regional Comissioner, something which wasn't true as well.
Therefore hon.Susan Lymo has been suspended for five parliament meetings, while hon Anatropia Theonest suspended for three parliament meetings.
