TAKUKURU General Secretary Removed From His Position By President Magufuli

President John Pombe Magufuli has undo the selection of TAKUKURU General secretary Dr Edward Hoseah due to poor performance. The president said he isn't satisfied with the speed of performance TAKUKURU has under the leadership of Dr Edward Hoseah. TAKUKURU has failed to combat corruption happening in Dar Es Salaam port as well as in Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), something which has made the nation to loose a lot of its revenue.

Tanzania Chief Secretary ambasaddor Ombeni Sefue said president Magufuli has select the former deputy director general Mr Valentino Mlowola to be the acting director general of TAKUKURU. Ambasaddor Sefue said, the president made the decision after he was fully satisfied that the TAKUKURU speed performance under Dr Hoseah cannot/ will never meet the speed he truly want to see under his leadership.

"One of the areas which lead to huge loss of revenue in the country is Dar Es Salaam port and TRA, therefore president Magufuli is very disappointed with the fact that corruption activities have been goin on for some time now in those areas; but TAKUKURU's speed to take action and combat the corruption doesn't match with the speed the president truly wants." Said Ombeni.

Moreover ambassador Ombeni said, president Magufuli has fired four TAKUKURU seniour staffs who  traveled abroad despite the denial of approval of journey from president and chief secretary. The president said when he ordered public stuffs to stop traveling abroad under government expenses he truly meant it, so whoever disobey that will suffer the consequences.

The four senior staffs fired are Mary Mosha, Ekwabi Majungu, Doreen Kapwani and Rukia Nikitas. Ambasaddor Sefue asked other public servants to familiarise and obey the new law implemented by the president of not travelling abroad unnecessarily  under government expenses.
