President Magufuli has removed Anne Kilango Malecela from her position of Regional Comisioner (RC) for Shinyanga region due to misconduct. President Magufuli made the decision after Anne Kilango Malechela made a statement in media that there are no ghost workers (workers who don't exist) in Shinyanga region.
After she made the statement president office sent a confidential board to conduct investigation and 45 ghost workers were discovered in the first phase of investigation. Second phase investigation is still going on and probably many more ghost workers could be discovered.
President Magufuli made the statement as he was receiving 6bn/- given by parliament office after austerity and the money will be used to buy desks for pupils. Hon . Magufuli also said he is so dissapointed by Mrs Anne's misconduct therefore he has ordered for her and Regional Adminstrative Secretary (RAS) to be immediately removed from their offices. Anne Kilango has served as Shinyanga RC for only 30 days.
