Prince Needed Treatment For the Same Drug Used by Michael Jackson, Ex Bodyguard Says Prince Wasn't on Drugs

Prince needed emergency treatment from the same drug used by the late singer Michael Jackson. According to UK Mirror the autopsy for Prince was done yesterday on Friday and his body has been released to his family. However the test results will take few weeks as medics awaits the outcome of the tests. Nevertheless investigators said they need to talk to the singer's close friends, family, staff, flight crew because it was reported that Prince needed emergency treatment from Percocet painkillers.

Sources say the 57 year old took so many Percocet painkillers shortly after performing in Atlanta, eight days ago and his condition became critical. Prince was traveling from Atlanta to Minesotta last Friday and the plane had to land in Illinois for emergency as the star was unresponsive.

Percocet is one amongs drugs found in Michael Jackson Los Angeles home, when he passed on in 2009. In fact doctors have been warning people not to use Percocet drug as pain killer too often because it's very addictive.

On the other hand Wallace Safford who worked as Prince's bodyguard in early 1980's has insisted that Prince never used drugs. Wallace told Radar Online that he worked for Prince at the time when his carrier was on the peak, he was mostly known then and despite of wilder days of parting he never used drugs.

"When we filmed Purple Rain, that was the prime of his life right there,It was the time Prince was well known for his love of partying, and was regularly snapped at Studio 54, where he hosted a Purple Rain party on March 22, 1985."
"He partied, but he didn't party, No drugs," he insisted, despite the many rumors, "He didn't do drugs. Not at all." Wallace said
Safford said he only ever saw Prince drink wine once, before he was sick, saying: "I never knew him to drink either!"
Prince was found dead in the elevator of his Paisley Park home in Minneapolis on Thursday. During his lifetime he sold more than 100 million records during his career, won seven Grammy awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
