Kigamboni New Bridge Officialy in Use (Photos)

 Kigamboni bridge is officially in use since yesterday April 16, 2016; meanwhile vehicles will be charged while pedestrians can cross the bridge freely. The construction of Kigamboni bridge started in February 2012 and was meant to be completed in January 31, 2015 but that was impossible due to some challenges constructors faced.

The bridge has cost 214.6 billion which 25 percent of it will be paid in shillings while the remaining 75 percent will be paid in dollars. Engineer in charge of the construction has asked Tanzanias to care and protect all the properties in the bridge because each them costed money. The engineer said all this after some unknown people stole 4 security cameras installed on the bridge.  See more photos after the cut:
