Pastor Josephat Gwajima Denies Lowassa, Says He Was Never Lowasa's Supporter

Pastor Josephat Gwajima of "Kanisa la ufufuo na uzima" (Church of The Resurrection and Life), said that he was never Edward Lowassa supporter during presidential campaign in September 2015.  Speaking in the interview at Azam TV, Gwajima said "I have never been Lowasa's supporter or supporter of any political party, I was invited to lead prayers for the launching of presidential campaign in Arusha and Jangwani Dar Es Salaam; that's it and not otherwise."

"The act of accepting the call to prayer has made Tanzanians to believe I am in Lowasa's team, something which is not true. I am a supporter of changes within the country, I have always been supporting changes and not someone's personality or political party." He added.

However records shows that pastor Gwajima was in Lowasa's team and he was on the forefront to ensure he wins. Moreover Gwajima used a lot of energy and time to criticize Dr Slaa, who was then attacking CHADEMA and its candidate Edward Lowassa. Dr Slaa addressed Gwajima as Lowassa's matchmaker, he even said Gwajima paid him a visit to convince him to accept Lowassa in CHADEMA political party.

On the other hand in the video of UKAWA colliation campaign in Dar Es Salaam, Gwajima said "whoever curses Lowassa and Haji Duni, may the curse return to you because this is Lowasa's time and nobody will prevent that."

Therefore is it true Gwajima was not Lowasa's supporter?????
