Police praised voters for general calmness and peaceful voting exercise. Police officers at Kilakala and Kigunga polling stations said voters were following directions given to them by the election and police officers in majority of polling stations.
One of the police officers who didn't want to mention his name said, "We are very happy with the situation, voters are obeying orders and directive as required, as you can see everything is ok,"
Police officer also said everyone including youths were following rules and regulations set at the polling stations. Many youths came to vote but they have all parked their motorcycles and cars beside and join the que to wait for their own time to vote, this is quite impressive.
However few residents gave their own comments and they said, they want to cast their votes peaceful without causing any chaos that will sabotage the nation long maintained peace.
"We want to vote peacefully, we have decided to remain calm so that we can exercise our constitutional right of electing our leaders."
