President of Tanzania Republic, Dr John Pombe Magufuli has officially open the construction of Fly Overs in Dar Es Salaam city. The president did this today at the junction of Mandela and Nyerere road, speaking to citizens, Magufuli said fly overs will help to solve the problem of traffic jam which disturbs majority of Dar Es Salaam residents.
President also asked Dar Es Salaam leaders to make sure the city is clean with attractive environments always so as to protect the health of Dar Es Salaam residents.
Moreover Magufuli asked Dar Es Salaam leaders not to put their own private hygiene companies so as to avoid conflict of interests.
"Dar Es Salaam leaders, don't put your own hygiene company to clean the city, if you do what exactly do you expect???" Dr Magufuli questioned.
JIKA representative Tishio Nagase, said the project of constructing Fly Overs which is under the government of Tanzania and Japan will improve the lives of residents and will also reduce queues of cars at a large scale. The project is expected to be completed in 2018.
