President Yoweri Museveni Sworn In For Fifth Term (Photos)

President Yoweri Museveni has been sworn in for the fifth term, this morning in Kampala Uganda. The 71 year old first came into power in January 29th 1986. President Magufuli of Tanzania Republic and President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe are amongst leaders who attended the ceremony.

Museveni was declared winner of the presidential elections with 60.75%. Dr Col.Kizza Besigye of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) got 35.37%. Former Prime minister, Amama Mbabazi, who challenged the results in the Supreme Court and lost the case, came third with 1.43%.
