According to a statement issued by European Union (EU), the scheduled polling stations where the EU Chief election observer will be able to talk to journalists are Kisutu Ward, Ilala constituency, at Kisutu Primary Schools A-1,2,3,4 between 10.00am and 11.00am in the morning and in Msasani Ward, Kawe constituency, at Oyster Bay Primary School C-1,2,3 at 3.15pm and 4pm in the afternoon.
Being the EU's chief election observer Sargetini, will also be able to give a preliminary observation report on election from all polling stations in the country, according to a statement and schedule to media, said the statement.
Sargetini, who is also a member of the European Parliament from Netherlands, will tomorrow lead 34 long-term observers from the EU EOM.
The team arrived in the country last month and were deployed across the country, to observe election preparation including election campaigns and the work of election administration.
The EOM team will observe voting, counting, the tabulation of results, as well as the handling of possible election-related complaints and appeals during the general elections and after.
The EU Chief Observer was quoted last month, saying: "The work of the Long-Term Observers will allow the EU EOM to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the electoral process across the whole country - before, during and after Election Day."
The EU EOM to Tanzania was deployed following an invitation from the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, the National Electoral Commission and the Zanzibar Electoral Commission.
The mandate of the mission is to observe all aspects of the electoral process and to assess the extent to which the elections comply with international and regional commitments for democratic elections undertaken by Tanzania, as well as with Tanzanian law.
