NEC has announced first results of presidential election in three constituency including Paje located in south Unguja, Lulindi located in Mtwara region and Makunduchi located in South Unguja.
Here are the total votes of the most two competitive presidential candidates Dr John Pombe Magufuli via CCM political party and Edward Ngoyai Lowasa via CHADEMA political party.
Paje constituency, Dr John Pombe Magufuli has 6,035 votes, while Edward Ngoyai Lowassa has 1,899 votes. Lulindi constituency, Dr John Pombe Magufuli has 31,603 votes while Edward Ngoyai Lowassa has 11,543 votes.
Makunduchi constituency , Dr John Pombe Magufuli has 8,406 votes while Edward Ngoyai Lowassa has 1,769
