Dr John Pombe Magufuli has elected Honorauble Majaliwa Kassim Majaliwa an MP of Ruangwa constituency to be the eleventh Tanzania prime minister for 2015-2020. Majaliwa's name was delivered to parliament speaker Job Ndugai by the close bodyguard of the president and it was inside three sealed envelopes.
However Dr Magufuli wrote the name with his own hand write instead of typing something which proves the selection was truly handled secretively. On the other hand majority of MPs were delighted after the speaker announced the elected prime minister, the MPs will cast their votes of yes or no later today.
Honorauble Majaliwa Kassim Majaliwa was born in 22nd December 1960, he is 54 year old, and he has been an MP for Ruangwa constituency since 2010. He has also served in different posts within the government and he was the deputy minister of TAMISEMI in the fourth phase which was 2010-2015.
