BBC presenter Victoria Derbshire recorded a video on her hospital bed were she shared her story of battling with breast cancer. Victoria had to take some time of from her carrier in August to deal with her health. She has just had a mastectomy and she believes she has beat breast cancer.
Victoria held up a message just after she woke up from the operation with words " hi this morning I had breast cancer."
Then she held another message saying " this evening I don't." Moreover Victoria said she shared her story, first because she is a very open person and second because she wants to encourage women who face the same problem.
She admitted that she never knew having mastectomy is totally do able and so she is encouraging other women with same problem not to worry because cancer is manageable. Victoria's operation began quarter to eleven in the morning and she was done at quarter to three. She thanks the doctors for the good job and their care.
However she said she could still feel some pain but after getting some pain killers she felt better. Nonetheless five days later she was still feeling very weak she couldn't brash her teeth with her right hand or lift her laptop or books, but everything else is just fine.
