Tanzanian veteran actres Tekla Mjeta was ill few days back, to the extent she had to be admitted in the hospital in Bagamoyo district. There were false information circulating social media that the actress has passed on but her representative quickly denied the information and said she is just sick but not dead.
Tekla has finally speak about her health and she said she has been discharged from the hospital, she is at home and doing very fine now. Moreover during the event if "Usiku wa Msanii" Tekla was given an award of honour as a veteran actress in the country. The award was received by her colleague Jacob Steven well known as JB who said
"Mama Tekla has asked me to receive this award oh her behalf and tell you all that, she has been discharged from the hospital, she is doing very well so far. She also said thanks to everyone who prayed for her, and very sorry to all who were very shocked over the false news of her death. Lastly she loves you all so much."
