Magufuli Suspends Five Public Servants on Suspicion of Misuse of Fund

President Magufuli has been trying to reduce government expenditure by avoiding unnecessary expenditure since he got to the office. A new report from the presidential palace revealed that the president has suspend other five public workers on suspicion of misuse of fund.
The public workers suspended including Director General of the National Identification Authority (NIDA) Mr Dickson Maimu, Director of TEHAMA Joseph Makani, chief supply officer Rahel Mapande, Director of law Sabrina Nyoni and Despatch officer George Ntalima.

 

President Magufuli said reports show that NIDA has been given Tsh 179.6 billion. This is a huge amount of money, the president would like to carry out an investigation to determine how the money was used because there have been a lot of complaints from citizens about the slow pace of issuance of ID cards.

Moreover the president has ordered five ambassadors from abroad to return to the country because some their contract has expired and others are given new responsibilities to accomplish here in the country. These ambassadors are:

Dk. James Alex Msekela– Rome, Italia

Peter Allan Kallaghe– London, Uingereza

Dk. Deodorous Kamala– Brussels, Ujerumani

Dk. James Alex Msekela- Rome Italia

Dk. Aziz Ponray– Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia

Francis Malambugi– Brasilia, Brazil
