Owners of Private Schools and Colleges Congratulate Dr Joyce Ndalichako

Owners of private schools and colleges have congratulate Dr Joyce Ndalichako for ordering National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA),  to review grading system for form IV and VI and abolish the current grading system of GPA. Dr Ndalichako ordered NECTA to return the former grading system of Division.


Chairman of TAMONGSCO Mrinde Mnzava talked to news reporters today in Dar Es Salaam and said they truly congratulate Dr Ndalichako for this decision because many parents didn't understand GPA grading system, something which forced teachers to explain every now and then to majority of parents.

However the GPA grading system increased number of students who passed partially National examinations, something which lead to a huge of illiterate graduates. Moreover Mr Mrinde said the main source of students fail is constant transformation of curriculum.
